Velociraptor by ALS
Project Log: Here
The final project in our monthly round-up this time is also the smallest. In fact it's one of the smallest PC's we've ever seen that can be called a gaming PC. ALS' custom-made Velociraptor is smaller than a shoebox but still houses full-size PC components.
The PSU was stripped down to save space and both it and the motherboard are tilted on their sides to reduce the case's footprint. The graphics card is placed on the other side of this mid-section mount, and ALS will likely be using a PCI extension cable to connect it to the motherboard.
The case itself has been fashioned using metal and looks fantastic. Space is clearly at an extreme premium, with the height little more than the width of the mini-ITX motherboard. Two fans offer front to rear cooling and somehow, there's even space for a Radeon HD 7950.

That's all for the July edition of Mod of the month! We'll be back in a few weeks. Stay tuned.
